Myth #5 Busted

Myth #5 - There is No Solid Proof of an Intelligent Designer

By surprise, science has discovered amazing seven-day cycles in the very building blocks of plant and animal life. These newly found sevens, or "septans," also lie buried in us humans -- deep in our metabolic, hormonal, and neuronal networks. This startling discovery has wide-ranging effects that you will want to understand.  Society's seven-day calendar week is the only major rhythm of human activity that is totally oblivious to external nature. This so-called "social week" rests on mathematical regularity alone.

We may casually assume that our week is really a division of the moon cycle. If that is our assumption, we forget that the lunar cycle is not a twenty-eight-day cycle, but approximately twenty-nine days, twelve hours, forty-four minutes and three seconds -- or 29.5306 days between new moons. A precise quarter of the lunar cycle amounts to the uneven figure of 7.38625 days. So any week using that true length would begin at different times of the day every time the cycle started. There is just no way to neatly divide the lunar cycle into weekly blocks of complete days.

Then what about the sun? Doesn't the cycle of seven relate to the center of our solar system? Again, no! The 7-day week is also independent from the annual solar cycle of 365 1/4 days. A "year" of 52 weeks would have just 364 whole days. Nor is the week in harmonic sympathy with the star year of 366 1/4 days. Star days or "sidereal days" are about four minutes shorter than solar days (an observer will see a particular star at the same position four minutes earlier on successive nights). In short, there are no known external rhythms in nature that could explain the universal existence of the seven day social week.

A regular, predictable week plays a major role in developing our civilization
In the first six days of evenings and mornings an Intelligent Designer  established orbits of sun, moon and earth for time, cycles and seasons; he prepared the earth to receive living things; he formed fully developed plant, marine and animal life; and on the sixth day made his creation zenith -- man, male and female.
His last act in the creation week was to rest and made  the seventh day as a memorial to his creation. He closed the cycle of creation at seven days and set the clock of time moving forward to this day. In all life resides that circaseptan beat echoing. Each living thing made testifies of brilliant design, of divine craftsmanship, of marvelous function, of intricate interactions with the environment and other life forms, of mystery, of beauty. From roses to redwoods, from salmon to sharks, from elephants to eagles, all life cries to be inspected, admired and praised for its peculiar display of divine handiwork. Even man marvels in awe when he beholds himself:

The fingerprints of an Intelliget Designer covers creation. To behold life on earth in its billions of varieties and go forth claiming it to be the result of blind, random, evolutionary accidents, takes a "faith" and a "belief" that defies understanding or logic.

Apart from the biblical record, historians have had difficulty placing the precise beginning of the seven-day week. It is simply acknowledged as an ancient practice of very early origin in the history of civilization. The historical record becomes specific, however, with the appearance of Israelite  culture. In the millennium before Yeshua  the distinctive of Israel's (and Judaism's) seven-day week became widely known. Its special seventh day devoted to worship and rest -- the Sabbath -- became an identity trademark that has endured to the present.

You Are Unique

Anyone who knows anything about crime knows one of the first things detectives look for at a crime scene is fingerprints, those unique markers left by the ridges on everyone’s fingers.

Evolutionist tells us that humans are just a by product of random selection or survival of the fittest and that life ends with death. Whenever we're tempted to believe that you're insignificant, think about your security chip otherwise known as your finger prints. Did you know that there are NO two similar fingerprints on earth even though there are  over 7 billion people? Thats right folks, you have a unique identity and you're 1 in 7 billion.

It's not at all a trivial matter that with billions of people on the planet, no two sets of fingerprints are identical.  Even identical twins have unique fingerprints, because development of fingerprints is both genetically and environmentally influenced.

Unique fingerprints, along with their being just a neat thing to think about, have practical benefits as well. They've proved to be a pretty reliable form of identification, fitting well within the broader area of biometric security. Presenting human, physical evidence of who you are tends to make for a much more reliable security system. After all, it's relatively easy to get a fake ID card, but it's extremely hard to fake a physical trait such as a fingerprint. While passwords are easy to forget, you can't 'forget' to bring your fingerprints. The question is, could all these happen by accident? The answer is NO! Fingerprints are an Intelligent Desingner's  way of showing that every individual is unique.

Being significant in this world is so important - we tend to look for significance in our looks, our position, our carrers & wealth  etc. Those are fine but true significance is when you know that you are unique and significant .  Fingerprints never change, even as people age. One source points out that “superficial burns, cuts and scrapes do not affect fingerprints as the original pattern is maintained when the new skin grows.”

The Eye

Darwin says, "To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I frankly confess absurd in the highest degree." (. After admitting that it "seems absurd in the highest degree," he proceeds, as if it were certainly true. Darwin has been admired for his candor, but not for his consistency. After admitting that an objection is insuperable, he goes on as if it had little or no weight and many of his followers take the same unscientific attitude. They try to establish their theory in spite of overwhelming arguments.
The eye is so wonderful in its powers, and delicate adjustments, that we stand amazed at the evidences of design, and at the wisdom of the Maker of the eye, are exceeding the highest inventive genius of man. To say that this is the result of "natural selection, is absurd and ridiculous. Evolution eliminates design, mind, and an active and ever present God, and substitutes blind chance or natural selection, dubs it "science" and asks the world to believe it!

According to the evolution theory, the gain in the mechanism of the eye causes its possessors to survive, and others to die. Is that true? Are there not many species that survive, whose eyes are less perfect than the eye of man? Indeed, it is claimed that many animals have eyes superior to man. If so, why did man survive and become the dominant species, with eyes less perfect? The compound eyes of some species are superior in some respects, as every one knows, who has ever tried to slip up on a fly. A scientist says that fleas have such perfect vision that the darkness under the bed clothes is to them a glaring light.

Darwin makes a fatal admission, when he says, "to arrive, however, at a conclusion regarding the formation of the eye with all its marvelous yet not absolutely perfect characters, it is indispensable that the reason should conquer the imagination; but I have felt the difficulty far too keenly to be surprised at others hesitating to a length." (Italics ours). No wonder the reason and judgment of mankind revolts against such a theory and that so many evolutionists themselves reject it.
